No Needles, No Numbness, No Vibrations
Biolase Waterlase™ Millennium® Laser System

We are very excited to announce that we know have the Waterlase™ Laser treatment system. It is the latest in proven technology for a variety of patients’ needs. We are pleased to be the first and only practice in Fort Smith to offer this technology.

The Waterlase technology allows cavity preparation and soft tissue (gum) procedures without anesthesia. No needles. Because the decay is being removed by a combination of laser and water, there is no drill noise or vibration. If you need fillings on both sides of your mouth, they can now be done in one visit because you won’t be numb. This means fewer trips to the dentist to complete treatment.

Do you have sensitive teeth? The Waterlase can decrease sensitivity. No ice cream screams! Since the laser does not cause vibration or heat during cavity preparations, the temporary sensitivity of the tooth after the procedure is also reduced or eliminated.

The Waterlase system is a conservative tool for restorations because it will remove only the softer, decayed portion of the tooth, while actually increasing the tooth’s hardness and resistance to acids by 50-72%. It can safely remove debris from fissures in adult teeth so that sealants to prevent decay can be applied. Previously, this was not possible for most adults.

Think about it. No anesthetic, no needles, no numb face or lip, no drill noise or vibration, stronger teeth for treatment, fewer visits to complete treatment and gum treatments without numbness.

We always strive to give you the best treatment possible in the fewest visits necessary. We want to provide for your comfort and peace of mind as well. We truly believe the Waterlase treatment system will allow us to continue in our mission.
